Cardinal Duality, Totem Animal T-Shirt

I had randomly come across an article explaining the discovery of a hermaphrodite cardinal. It’s color was perfectly split down the middle displaying one half with the female’s yellow color while the opposite side was bright red as found in males. I was inspired to recreate this animal oddity in my latest totem piece. It might spread a little light on the fact that nature isn't always black and white when it comes to identity. This piece was created using colored pencil and micron pens.
