Fyropotamos is one of the most picturesque seaside setlements with "syrmata" in Milos island (Cyclades, Greece). The settlements with "syrmata" is one of the most beautiful characteristics of this unique island. Other tiny villages with this typical style of liliput houses are, Klima, Mandrakia, Fourkovouni, Areti, Aghios Konstantinos and Mytakas. What amazes me in this type of villages, besides the beauty of simplicity, is the strong feeling of comunity, the warm bonds between the members of these villages, and their tight conection with the sea. A paraglider has jumped off the cliff at the famous Bald Hill near Stanwell Tops & soars like an eagle over this heavenly sight of Stanwell Park beach before landing in Stanwell Park. I think that is where they land. This was a fairly hot day. I'll be back for more shots when it's a bit cooler & in the meantime dream about soaring like an eagle like they have done. Can anyone explain how on Earth, could a rock like this have been created? With the geological history of Milos island (Cyclades, Greece) everything seems possible. The greatest artist of all times, Nature, had a creativity and imagination uplift, when creating this unique island. If you want to see such "psychedelic" rock and pebbles you should go the Kastanas beach on the east coast of Milos. Get a good map of the island and don't be afraid of the dirtroads! Don't pick a pebble as a souvenir! A local legend says, that everytime a visitor took a pebble as a souvenir, the pebble was losing its colours as soon as it left Milos. Can you believe it?

Strange "structure" in Gidaki beach, the most beautiful beach of Ithaca ("Ithaki") island, Ionian Sea, Eptanisa ("Seven Islands"), Greece. It can be accessed only by boat, or after 45 minutes walk on a path that starts from Shinos beach (be careful during the slippery last meters downhill!).
