Tyrell Corporation

Total Recall (1990) Federal Colonies operates and governs mining facilities and their supporting domed habitats on the planet Mars—a sprawling colony constructed by Earth’s Northern Bloc for the purpose of extracting Mars’ turbinium ore.

This unnamed class of Battlestar, dubbed here the Galactica-type, was the original class of battlestar constructed by the United Colonies of Kobol. An initial order of twelve, to represent the Twelve Colonies, followed by others, were constructed during the Cylon War due to a pressing need for well armed, armoured vessels reliant on un-networked computers, and being able to serve as carriers transporting fighter craft for intercepting Raiders. These ships were first put into service in the middle of the war, and were followed by a number of classes based on the design.

The origins of the Viper lie with the Caprican Air Force Viper jet, which in service for some time before 1942. It is presently unknown if the spaceborne iteration which fought in the Cylon War was another series of craft with the same name, but the Mark II was in service by the midway point of the war. This craft was, like the battlestars it launched from, designed purposely to be as low-tech as possible to thwart the Cylons' computer hacking capabilities. The similarly-designed Mark III entering service by 1958, two years before the war's conclusion.

The Tyrell Corporation was a high-tech firm primarily focused on the production of androids known as replicants. It was based in Los Angeles and named after its founder Eldon Tyrell. As of 2019, the corporation was headquartered in two large, pyramid-like structures that lie on the outskirts of Los Angeles. Inclinators ran along the outside of the massive structures. In November 2019, Blade Runner Rick Deckard visited the Tyrell Corporation to administer a Voight-Kampff test to Rachael, an experimental replicant and Tyrell's assistant. Tyrell's massive office, where Deckard administered the test had a large automatic shade which lowered with the push of a button. This room also housed an animoid pet owl.

Pyramid Mines, owned and operated by Federal Colonies, stopped operating in 2084 once they discovered ancient alien technology on Mars. That's a little over 40 years from now. Seems weirdly plausible.

Shimata-Dominguez was created in 1968 by combining the nickel and aluminium smelting and alloying operations of Shimata and Dominguez. Shimata-Dominguez was listed on the World Stock Exchange on November 14, 1971 (WEX:SDC16417). Most of its operations have long operating histories on the Moon, Mars and Phobos under previous owners and operators. Since 2001 Shimata-Dominguez Corporation (SDC) has been undergoing a significant strategic transformation by developing mining activities off-world and by progressively decommissioning its old W-4 and T-14 andys in favor of the smarter Nexus series.

TYRELL CORP.

The Nexus-6 were a series of replicants developed by Eldon Tyrell and his genetic design team to be more human than all previous Nexus models. The Nexus-6 was produced by 2018, when a group of combat model Nexus-6 replicants staged a mutiny in the Off-world colonies. This event prompted replicants as a whole to be prohibited on Earth. The following year, a group of Nexus-6 replicants led by Roy Batty hijacked a transport and went to Earth in search of a way to extend their lifespans.

Flamingos or flamingoes are a type of wading bird in the family Phoenicopteridae, the only bird family in the order Phoenicopteriformes. Four flamingo species are distributed throughout the Americas, including the Caribbean, and two species are native to Africa, Asia, and Europe.
