Childhood is best when you can explore nature in your nicest dress. An oil painting done on stretched canvas.

A digital "painting" referenced from a photo I took at the creek. Instead of focusing on getting every detail right I wanted to capture the feeling of being there with all the plants and trees, some fallen and still growing with roots exposed. Look into a puddle and you will find it brimming with life! A snapshot of a beautiful moment in spring. Pause and appreciate these scenes, take in the smell of the air and the crunch of all the rocks underfoot. I know the next time I visit it will have changed again, with new things to find!

This is a fantasy landscape of the pond and fountain located at Loose park in Kansas City Missouri. There is a pond in the foreground with the fountain in the middle and trees in the background. Often here, there are ducks and geese and turtles and numerous people walking around. This is a popular spot in Kansas City. Loose Park is the third largest park in Kansas City. It is located at 51st Street and Wornall Road. The park is home to a lake, a shelter house, Civil War markers, tennis courts, a water park, picnic areas and a Rose Garden. The Rose Garden is popular for all types of outdoor special events including theatrical performances and wedding ceremonies.
