Description: The Dorm That Dripped Blood is a 1982 American slasher film that follows four college students who stay on campus over the Christmas break. The students are tasked with cleaning out a condemned dormitory, when an unknown assailant begins stalking and murdering them. Filmed on a Los Angeles college campus in December 1981, the film was originally released in the United States and United Kingdom under the title Pranks in 1982. When its distributors found the title to not be conducive to box-office sales, the film was re-titled The Dorm That Dripped Blood and re-released in 1983. In the United Kingdom, it suffered significant censorship due to its graphic violence, earning its inclusion on the British film "video nasty" list.
