I believe this vintage hydrant was manufactured by Ludlow Valve Mfg. Co of Troy, New York and would be a version of their List 75 model.

A Mueller hydrant from their foundry in Albertville, Alabama forged in 1991. This is a Super Centurion hydrant as indicated by the letters B.S.R. on the bonnet though I cannot find what the letters actually stand for. Mueller has made fire hydrants since 1933 but the Centurion and Super Centurion only since 1975.

The M&H 129 Hydrant has been made by MH Valve Company for 60 years. This one was made in 2000. I've a color photo of the front of it but thought it looked rather nice in black and white here.
