Scottish Gaelic T-Shirts
Description: Learning Scottish Gaelic (Gàidhlig) or hope to? This useful shirt tells folks exactly what you need. "Speak Gaelic to me" is boldly proclaimed up top. At the bottom "I am learning it" and an old saying around the knotwork: "Broken Gaelic is better... than Gaelic in the Grave." The knotwork itself is from the stones that denote Mackay country (Dùthaich Mhic Aoidh) in northwest Sutherland, home of the now nearly extinct west sutherland dialect of Gaelic. Every Gaelic speaker matters. Dark Font version with different color shirts also found on my store.
Description: Slainte (pronounced slanj-eh) is a Scottish and Irish toast, meaning health. It's not uncommon to hear Slainte, or Slainte Mhath (Slanj-eh va, means good health) heartily called from within a pub. This design pairs the toast with Celtic knotwork, a style that ancient Celts are known for. Whether you're a Scot, part of the Scottish diaspora, or simply love all things Scottish, this is the design for you.
