This is a digitally restored reproduction of the original WWI food rules print developed by the US Food Administration in 1919. Created by Frederic Cooper, this poster has served as an ongoing reminder in wars, kitchens and educational institutions around the world as a all inclusive list to dealing with and eating food.

The Pyramid of Khafre or of Chephren is the second-tallest and second-largest of the Ancient Egyptian Pyramids of Giza and the tomb of the Fourth-Dynasty pharaoh Khafre (Chefren), who ruled from c. 2558 to 2532 BC.

The Great Library of Alexandria in Egypt, was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world. The Library was part of a larger research institution called the Mouseion, which was dedicated to the Muses, the nine goddesses of the arts.

This is a beautifully restored reproduction of an original World War I poster for advertising the purchase of War Savings Stamps. During WWI, the United States and other nations relied on their citizens to help raise money for the war effort, so advertisements and posters such as these were very common during that time period.

Menkaure's pyramid had an original height of 65.5 meters (215 feet) and was the smallest of the three major pyramids at the Giza Necropolis. It now stands at 61 m (204 ft) tall with a base of 108.5 m. Its angle of incline is approximately 51°20′25″. It was constructed of limestone and Aswan granite. The first sixteen courses of the exterior were made of the red granite. The upper portion was cased in the normal manner with Tura limestone. Part of the granite was left in the rough.

Fort St Elmo is situated at the end of the peninsula which houses the city of Valletta and is positioned to give it a view of both the Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour, with a history going back centuries. It played an enormous part in defending Malta during The Great Siege by the Ottoman Empire in 1565. Today it houses the National War Museum and The Siege Bell war memorial. This image shows the fort from The Grand Harbour on a sunny October morning.

This is an image of one of the many, many vaults inside L'Eglise du Dome, showing the tomb of Turenne. Henri de La Tour d’Auvergne, vicomte de Turenne, was a French military leader and a marshal of France. He was one of the greatest military commanders during the reign of Louis XIV. He began his military career in the Thirty Years War (from 1625); he subsequently commanded the royal armies in the civil war of the Fronde (1648–1653); commanded the French invasion of the Spanish Netherlands (1667) and in the third Dutch War (in 1672). The following few images are all shot inside the Eglise du Dome in Paris. This church has a number of statues, sculptures, and vaults each dedicated to a war hero. Napoleon II was the son of Napoleon I, Emperor of the French. When Napoleon I abdicated in April 1814, he named his son as Emperor. However, the coalition partners that had defeated him refused to acknowledge his son as a successor, and Napoleon I was forced to abdicate unconditionally a number of days later. Although Napoleon François Bonaparte never actually ruled France, he was briefly the titular Emperor of the French and is still generally referred to by historians as Napoleon II.
