Calcium phosphate crystal, coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM). Crystalline materials have their atoms placed in regular lattices that can form geometric shapes like this. Calcium phosphate crystals contain both calcium (Ca) and phosphate (PO4) ions, but the precise ratio varies according to the crystal structure. Calcium phosphates are used in dental materials and also in foodstuffs. Magnification: x7100 when printed 10cm wide.

Kidney stone, scanning electron micrograph (SEM). Kidney stones are primarily formed by crystallization of the mineral salt calcium oxalate from the urine. They are irregular shaped stones called calculi (calculus) and are composed of random oriented columnar monoclinic crystals of calcium oxalate monohydrate with peripheral deposits of fine octahedral crystals of calcium oxalate dehydrate (seen here). Patches of microcrystalline hydroxyl apatite fill internodal regions. Protein matrices can also be associated with the microcrystalline arrays. The hard stones can cause severe pain as they pass down the ureter (urinary tract). Kidney stones may need to be removed surgically using ultrasound. Rick (リック, Rikku) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Responsible and sincere, Rick has taken over for his sickly mom and absentee dad as the head of PoPoultry. He may be a tad overprotective of his little sister, but it comes from a place of love.

Brandon (ブランドン, Burandon) is a bachelor in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Brandon lives with Gotts to south of your farm. He is seen wondering near the hot spring and lake in the morning. Eccentric yet passionate, Brandon is a renowned artist taking up residence at the Workshop.

Elly (エリィ, Erii) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Elly is the nurse at the local clinic in Mineral Town. She also has the responsibility of caring for her mischievous little brother Yu and her ailing grandmother, Ellen. Despite her hardships, Elly is always kind and patient, often putting the needs of others before her own. Elly's family is very important to her, especially after her parents died many years ago.

Karen (カレン, Karen) is a character in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Karen is the daughter of Jeff and Sasha. The family live at and operate Mineral Town's Supermarket. Karen is a friendly and sociable person who spends most of her days at home or in the store.

An enchanting crystal collection for all the crystal lovers out there. This design was constructed by Mx. Chris Nicholson, owner of Rainbow Studios. This design was created using copious stock images, which all were for commercial use with no attribution required.
