Surf Beach T-Shirts
Description: Surfing is a surface water sport in which an individual, a surfer (or two in tandem surfing), uses a board to ride on the forward section, or face, of a moving wave of water, which usually carries the surfer towards the shore. Waves suitable for surfing are primarily found on ocean shores, but can also be found in standing waves in the open ocean, in lakes, in rivers in the form of a tidal bore, or in wave pools. The term surfing refers to a person riding a wave using a board, regardless of the stance. There are several types of boards. The Moche of Peru would often surf on reed craft, while the native peoples of the Pacific surfed waves on alaia, paipo, and other such water craft.
Description: Surfer bars are great, but surfer dive bars are better, and once such example is the aptly named Surf Bar in Folly Beach, South Carolina. This laid back watering hole with beachy decor, patio seating, pub grub and a consistent calendar of live music was a Folly Beach favorite for almost 15 years before closing their doors and leaving locals and tourists alike with a hole in their heart.
Description: The ’80s weren’t all new wave neon ridiculousness. There was a whole casual surfer vibe that became quite popular, primarily through graphic t-shirts evoking the surfing lifestyle. This ’80s inspired design captures the vibe of the era, along with a classic Hawaiian sunset.
