Inspired by the awesome series of books "The Dark Tower" by Stephen King, is a reference to the creed of the gunslingers with Roland Deschain, the main character of the books, as center of the set. This creed, for those who haven't read the King's magnus opus (I highly recommend it) and as a spoiler, reads: I don't aim with my hand; He who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father. I aim with my eye. I don't shoot with my hand; He who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father. I shoot with my mind. I don't kill with my gun; He who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father. I kill with my heart

Hollywood, 1939. Amid the glitz and glitter of a bustling young movie town at the height of its golden age, the Hollywood Tower Hotel was a star in its own right; a beacon for the show business elite.

The Man in Black fled across the desert, and the Gunslinger followed.

A simple but striking image based on Stephen Kings Dark Tower. I wanted to depict the Gunslinger without over complicating the image with layers and layers of iconography from the books. Fans of the series should get a kick out of the opening line of the books.

The Victor Talking Machine Company was an American record company and phonograph manufacturer. The company was founded by engineer Eldridge R. Johnson, who had been manufacturing gramophones for inventor Emile Berliner, to play his disc records. After a series of legal issues between Berliner, Johnson and their former business partners, the two joined to form the Consolidated Talking Machine Co. in order to combine Berliner's patents for the disc record and Gramophone, along with Johnson's patents for improving its performance and fidelity. The Victor Talking Machine Co. was incorporated officially on October 3, 1901 shortly before an agreement with Columbia Records to share their various disc record patents.

A dérive through T-dot

On a stormy Halloween night long ago, five people entered an elevator and were never seen again. Here they stand in the lantern-lit hall of the hotel, not realizing they would never reach their destination.

The Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. The plan to build this 300 meters high tower was conceived as part of preparations for the World’s Fair of 1889.
