There is a tendency for me to get too detailed with this particular type of flower and again I have probably repeated that tendency. Their colour, strength and enthusiasm always give me a lift. This is mainly painted using the negative painting method but I certainly hope the feelings it evokes are clearly positive ones. I love the random bouquet of wildflowers one sees in fields and at the side of the road. I have tried to capture that wild quality here.
