Transvestia (Mimeographic History) Tank Top

The zine Transvestia was created by the Totally Trans Podcast's problematic fave Virginia Prince in 1960. While the publication created community for some trans people (predominantly white upper class trans people) it also presented a pretty limited view of what trans people and trans liberation should look like. We are including it in our Mimeographic History series because despite having a complicated cultural impact and legacy it is an important part of the history of trans art, self-publishing, and zine culture. (Note, we are absolutely using it without permission) The profits from this design help us keep making the podcast Totally Trans Searching for the Trans Canon and a portion will be donated back to trans community causes.
