This is the South-Western Sight of Hohentwiel Fortress Ruins in Singen, Germany in the evening sun. It is the largest fortress ruins in Germany with almost nine hectares. From the Hohentwiel you have a fabulous view across the Lake Constance to Switzerland with its rolling hills of the Thurgau region and the Alps behind. Every year in July there is a huge festivity within the ruins for almost one week. Lots of bands are playing different kind of music and also concerts are taking place.
