Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. The largest mosque in the country, and the 3rd largest in the world.It is the key place of worship for daily prayers, Friday gathering and Eid prayer. It is built as a monument to consolidate Islamic culture and a prominent centre for Islamic sciences and opened for prayers in 2007. There are in total ‎82 domes of seven different sizes. The larges has height‎ of ‎85 metres .Minaret height‎: ‎107 metres. The modern mosque, even for a non-believer, is worthy of a visit as a place of contemplation. The complex with its many arches, water features and huge open court-yards is best visited at dusk.
