Weirs Cove Jetty Tank Top

Looking 90 metres down the cliff through the cutting to the remains of the jetty from which a flying fox was used to lift construction materials and supplies for the Cape Du Couedic lighthouse. The jetty was constructed in 1907 and was in use until an overland road was constructed to the lighthouse in the mid 1940s.
