Agfa Tank Tops

The Agfa Clack was produced from 1954 and used a single-lens and the 6×9 format. The name Clack came from the shutter sound. To load the film, the housing, the cameramantel, as it was called in the instructions, had to be pulled down. It was manufactured - with modifications - until 1965.

Found a pile of old tapes in the basement at my folks, those were graphic treasures !

Glen Canyon Park, San Francisco (10/22/2011) The backlit Pampas Grass (Cortaderia selloana?) caught my eye (you can also see one across the canyon), and the rays of the rapidly falling sun were just a bonus (helped by the 041 Filter). I pretty much metered for the highlights and subtracted 2EV (placing the pampas grass plumes at zone 7) as I usually do for this B&W slide film. The amazing thing is that the canyon wall was very thin in the negative but is still scannable (and printable).
