Dried beans, canned beans, baked beans, coffee beans and jelly beans all share the shelves of this completely fictional retailer, presumably because somebody noticed they had one word in common and stopped researching. Is it a grocer, café, lolly shop or pantry with delusions of grandeur? Management refuses to clarify. Fun fact: coffee beans aren’t botanically beans at all, they’re seeds found inside coffee cherries.

The Red Rose of Lancaster is a symbol for the House of Lancaster, immortalised in the verse "In the battle for England's head/York was white, Lancaster red" (referring to the 15th century War of the Roses).
