Description: Oak Island pirates or Knights Templar? According to the earliest Oak Island theory, the pit held a pirate treasure buried by Captain Kidd. Another pirate theory involved Edward Teach (Blackbeard), who said that he buried his treasure "where none but Satan and myself can find it." Templars, Masons, or Incas seeking to squirrel their treasure away from Spanish conquistadors may have created the Money Pit.
