Choleric Tank Tops
Description: This scientific diagram shows a wheel of the four humors, blood, yellow bile, black bile and phlegm, with their elements and qualities, ringed by the four temperaments, on a deep dark background. Galen of Pergamon (129–c. 216) developed the theory of the four humors, which dominated Western and Islamic medicine until the Renaissance. Its four temperaments still live on in everyday language.
