Computer Animator Tank Tops
Description: To everyone else, they are just a row of geometric shapes. To animators, motion designers, and video editors, they represent countless hours spent adjusting keyframes, refining easing, and moving things one frame at a time. This minimalist “If You Know You Know” design celebrates the symbols behind digital animation and motion graphics. It is an understated visual joke for anyone who works with timelines, interpolation, keyframes, and the graph editor—or anyone who has ever insisted that an animation still needs “just one more adjustment.” A great gift for animators, motion designers, video editors, VFX artists, film students, design educators, and creative professionals who understand that not all keyframes are created equal.
Description: Founded in Denver, Colorado in 1960 by Lee Harrison, Computer Image Corporation (CIC) was in the business of making analog computer graphics in the early '70s. These unique machines included the Animac, CAESAR, and Scanimate graphics systems, though it's without question that Scanimate that is Harrison's crowing achievement. As the final and most advanced system created by CIC, Scanimate was an analog computer animation system (video synthesizer) created in 1969. Scanimates were used to produce a significant portion of the video-based animation seen in TV commercials, show titles, and other graphics. Since they could create animations in real time, this helped the system to supersede film-based animation techniques for television graphics.
