Description: When the Comics Code Authority loosened up in 1971, creators took full advantage and started dropping supernatural horror titles right and left. It was prime time for antiheroes - beings afflicted by some sort of supernatural malady that still had something good inside them. No character was more of an affront to the cause than Son of Satan who rode into the scene in 1975. Denying his infernal heritage, Son of Satan uses his abilities for the betterment of mankind, but has at times succumbed to his darker, demonic side, even clashing brutally with the forces of both Heaven and Hell.
