Galaxian Tank Tops
Description: Galaxian is a fixed shooter video game that began showing up in arcades in 1979. The player assumes control of the star fighter Galaxip in its mission to protect Earth from waves of Galaxian aliens. Gameplay involves destroying each formation of aliens, who dive down towards the player in an attempt to hit them. The aliens appear in formation towards the top of the screen, with two escort ships, labeled the "Galaxian Flagship" or "Galboss." Enemies divebomb towards the bottom of the screen while shooting projectiles in an attempt to hit the player. The Galaxip can only fire one shot at a time, and the player must wait for it to either hit an enemy or clear the screen before being able to fire another, due to limitations of the hardware.
Description: Atop the enemy formation are four large aliens known as the "Boss Galaga", which take two shots to destroy. These aliens can use a tractor beam to capture the player's ship, returning with it to the top of the formation and costing the player a life. Should additional lives remain, the player has an opportunity to shoot down the Boss Galaga holding the captured ship. Shooting it down as it dives towards the player will result in the captured ship being rescued, and it will join the player's ship, transforming it into a "dual-fighter" with additional firepower and a larger hitbox.
Description: A futuristic astronaut in a heroic yet minimalist pose, wearing a reflective helmet that reveals a vibrant nebula (in shades of purple, indigo, gold, and turquoise) and swirling galaxies. The astronaut's suit features subtle metallic details and elegant geometric lines (cyber-luxe style). Surrounding the astronaut are floating space elements: shimmering stars with a metallic effect, a subtle planetary ring, and particles of cosmic dust. At the bottom, discreet text in a futuristic serif or elegant sans-serif typeface: "SOVEREIGN VOID" or simply a minimalist symbol (like a stylized constellation). Print background: a soft gradient of deep space (black to dark violet).
