Glastonbury Tank Tops

The conical hill of Glastonbury Tor, rising high above the surrounding Somerset levels is topped by St Michael's monument. The Tor is mentioned in Celtic mythology, particularly in myths linked to King Arthur. 19th February 2024.

Inside the Haunted Mansion Number of views as of 9th October 2018 = 800. It's November and Somerset's carnival season is in full swing. Many Somerset towns (and even a few from Devon and Dorset) host illuminated carnival processions to brighten up those autumnal evenings. Dozens of brightly coloured, animated floats, pulled by tractors, with their own generators in tow, slowly pass through the often narrow streets of the towns, whilst music and dancing add to the atmosphere. The floats can be anything up to 60 feet long and 20 feet high, and some have to be seen to be believed.
