Description: This bird is actually a sketch of the Everglade’s largest wadding inhabitants,The Great Egret aka The Great white Egret. They are also known within Florida’s Indigenous communities,Miccosukee and Seminole tribe.Both share the same clan emblem for Bird Clan which contains the Great Egret and in folklore as well. [note:Both tribes are sister tribes,I am both Miccosukee and a member of the Bird clan] The colors in the background is actually from traditional medicine colors,also part of the flag and tribe’s emblem.
