Description: The Old Waldorf was a live music venue located in San Francisco at 444 Battery St. on the second floor of a building in the Embarcadero Center. The famous club was built out of what was originally a Foster's Cafeteria restaurant, opening its doors in 1976. Despite the brick and glass venue's terrible acoustics, during its time, The Old Waldorf hosted some of the biggest names in the music industry across a wide variety of musical genres. Despite the venue's full event calendar and solid ticket sales, the owner's closed down The Old Waldorf in 1983 and reopened it as The Punch Line comedy club which still occupies the space today. This one is based on the second of only two shirt designs the club ever released which came out sometime in 1983
