This canal barge can be found in a man made loch on the Auchlochan Estate in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It can not go anywhere other than circle around the small loch, so in reality, it is an art object. Auchlochan is a purpose build Retirement Village and Elderly Care Home. It has lovely gardens and several man made small lochs. Auchlochan means (the) ‘Field of the small loch’. The current lochs at Auchlochan are man made and no one knows where the original loch was. Some believe it was a reference to the River Nethan which meanders through the estate. Three bracketed JPGs converted to HDR in Photomatix Pro.

A piece of my digital art featuring an oak tree, and my narrowboat no problem which got hit by an 100 year oak tree last week causing £36,000 worth of damage, that we know of so far, may be more once start strippng the boat for repair, that is of course if the insurance company ok repairs and do not decide to write off. The Regent’s Canal offers an oasis of calm in the capital. It was once London’s best kept secret, but now we’re spreading the word with walkers, boaters, commuters and everyone looking to escape the busy city streets.

The Et Ego Feci Eum Chromosome ,often referred to as BS Chromosome occurs when the BLW, Windlass and Prop Chromosome merge. BS can take a matter of moments or develop over several years; at this stage our studies have not found a definitive pattern. However, it is noted that in those that watched canal themed shows in binge fashion developed the chromosome a lot faster than those that dipped in and out of the medium. Once fully formed the carrier has no control whatsoever over the need to visit boat shows, browse boats for sale or watch repeats of Tim & Pru. In extreme cases they have been known to bore anyone who will listen with their acquired knowledge of all this boat related.

Narrow boats on the Oxford Canal on a foggy day, just outside Brinklow, near Rugby, Warwickshire. The canal was constructed in 1790. A lovely long stretch with out locks. This has a watercolour effect added to it.
