The Famous Door was a jazz club on New York's 52nd Street. It opened in 1935 and was one of the major clubs on the street, hosting leading jazz musicians until 1950, through changes of location and periods of closure. The Famous Door opened at 35 West 52nd Street on March 1, 1935. Among its initial backers were the radio bandleader Lennie Hayton, who helped promote it, and musicians Jimmy Dorsey and Glenn Miller. Louis Prima performed on the club's opening night. The club was intended to provide a reliable venue for swing musicians and a place where they could gather, but other customers were attracted by the door inside (autographed by visiting celebrities) which gave the club its name, the fine music, and drinks that started at fifty cent

I didn’t get much in my research but, Bop City in New York City exactly at 1619 Broadway (1949- 1965) - Northwest corner of Broadway and 49th Street at Brill Building, was a very intimate Jazz Club were big jazz celebrities used to show up and play their magic in a very private setting. Previously “Zanzibar” club, Bop City brought Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Billy Eckstine, Miles Davis, Count Basie, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, John Coltrane (in October 1950) and Dewey Redman, in between others. This is my take of the original logo of this hidden magical club in ‘the city’.

Farfisa Electronic Instruments was formed after three Italian accordion manufacturers combined to form a single company. They began to produce electronic instruments in the late 1950s, and combo organs. Popular models included the Compact series introduced in 1964, the Professional in 1967, the FAST in 1968 and the VIP in 1970. The success of Farfisa organs declined with the increased popularity of electronic organs in rock groups during the '70s, and in response the company produced models that could emulate the most popular makes, and introduced electronic pianos and synthesizers. Farfisa Electronic Instruments saw a bit of a revival in the late 1970s as part of the new wave movement, and the final models were produced in the early 1980s.
