Niello Tank Tops

Description: Three broad scroll bands with plenty of bright silver left between them.

Description: A twelve ray rosette with a second, finer set of rays worked into the outer ring.

Description: The same knot drawn tighter, the loops closer together and the black cuts narrower.

Description: The same running scroll worked six bands deep, so the black fills more of the plate than the metal shows.

Description: An eight ray rosette inside three engraved rings, every ray cut and packed black.

Description: Three interlaced knot bands engraved across the plate, cut wide so the crossings read clearly.

Description: Two vines only, cut heavy, with wide polished silver either side of them.

Description: A six ray rosette, the most open of the three, with heavy rays and wide silver between them.

Description: Three engraved vines running the height of the plate, each with leaves thrown off alternate sides.

Description: The knot compressed until the bands almost touch, the densest engraving in the set.

Description: Four running scroll bands engraved across the silver, the cuts packed with black alloy and polished back flush.

Description: Five vines packed close together, the leaves overlapping so the black reads almost continuous.
