Description: Slavic Calendar. Ancient Slavs had their own calendar of twelve months which indicated seasonal changes. The months had original Slavic names based on observation of changes in their natural surrounding. Today, five Slavic nations still use those ancient names on their calendar and not the ones of Latin origin known in the west.
