Description: Doggie Diner was a local fast food chain serving hot dogs and hamburgers in San Francisco that operated from 1948 to 1986. At one time there were 30 locations around the San Francisco Bay Area, mostly concentrated in San Francisco and were quite iconic with their giant fiberglass doggie heads on their signs. This version of the Doggie Diner design includes an embellished version of their original logo. Description: Steak, Prime Rib, and Lobster...Oh My! Steak and Ale was founded in Dallas, Texas, in 1966. It started as an independent restaurant chain offering an upscale steak experience at lower prices, and remained an independent chain until 1976. Steak and Ale grew to its height in the late 1980's with 280 locations. In 2008 the company behind the Steak & Ale chains filed for one of the largest restaurant bankruptcies ever and the chain's remaining 58 locations were closed as part of the bankruptcy proceeding.
