Description: The Thinker by Rodin was exhibited for the first time in 1886 and it's one of the most famous works of the sculptor Auguste Rodin. A beautiful sculpture. We are encouraged today to "Think outside the box" . This a metaphor that means to think differently, unconventionally, or from a new perspective. This phrase often refers to novel or creative thinking. However I recently discovered a new version of this. Don't think OUTSIDE the BOX until you have looked in all the corners INSIDE the BOX. In other words, thoroughly exhaust what you have before looking elsewhere.
Description: For corporations and governments there is nothing more incendiary than someone pausing to collect their thoughts. The revolution will not be distracted. Put up a warning sign to say that you aren’t to be trifled with. "Know thyself", as Socrates said, in this digital surveillance world is more vital now than ever.
Description: This is my acrylic painting of some pigeons sitting on The Thinker statue. The Thinker statue represent man’s contemplation and thought. Some days you will be the pigeon, going about your business and living a carefree existence, and other days you will be the statue getting pooped on by the pigeons.
