Description: Microdisney – London / Cork Map Concept An architectural graphic statement honoring the essential Irish post-punk and indie pop band Microdisney. Founded by Cathal Coughlan and Sean O'Hagan, the group's geographical and musical axis between Cork and London created some of the most sophisticated, bitter, and brilliant music of the 1980s. This original design translates that urban tension into a clean, abstract cartographic diagram using high-precision orthogonal geometry and subtle color blocks.
Description: Sarah Records was a UK independent record label active in Bristol between 1987 and 1995, best known for its recordings of indie pop, which it released mostly on 7" singles. On reaching the catalogue number SARAH 100 the label celebrated its centenary by throwing a party and shutting itself down. In March 2015, NME declared Sarah to be the second greatest indie label of all time.
