During the late '60s, RV life was hitting it's stride and all over the country, like-minded individuals started to plan get together where they could meet up and share their love of the outdoors and the open road. One such event is the third Annual RV Jamboree in Bigfork, Montana back in 1971. From travel trailers and motor homes to pop-ups and slide ins, they came from all over America and made it happen.

Located a stone's throw from Yellowstone National Park, Backcountry RV was one of, if not the first RV dealer that specialized in motorhomes, campers, and conversion vans meant for backcountry travel.
