You’d hear Bonnie Raitt, Delbert McClinton, Ricky Nelson, Leon Russell, Jesse Colin Young, Martha Reeves, John Popper, Martin Mull, Maria Muldaur, the Roches,and Pat Benatar. Playing The Roof became a box that needed to be checked on many artists’ “I played at” lists. And a must-stop visit for anyone vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard.
