Made for my Viking DM of a husband <3

In this work I tried to combine the main symbols of the Thor, God of Thunder, Protector of Midgard. Mjolnir, Trinity Knot and Lightning. Hammer Mjolnir - the oldest and most famous symbol of Thor, the god of thunder and lightning, who protects gods and people from giants and hostile forces. The image of Mjolnir and the hammer-shaped pendants have been used as protective amulets in Northern Europe since ancient times, and after the adoption of Christianity, people for a long time still wore a cross and an amulet - a copy of Mjolnir. Also, one of the Thor's symbols is Triquetra or Trinity Knot - as a symbol of continuity of life.

Vikings and Norse warriors would wear the Mjölnir (Thor's Hammer) amulet to invoke the thunder god's strength and protection. In Norse mythology, Odin, the Allfather, is the father of Thor. This depiction of Mjölnir is adorned with Odin and Thor locked in battle. What's causing this domestic dispute? I'm not sure. Maybe Thor drank Odin's last bottle of mead!

The interlocking Celtic Knots design started in Britain in the Middle ages. The intricate designs are also referred to as "Mystic" or "Endless" knots because they symbolize infinite life. When a design such as this one has three points, it can symbolize mind, body and spirit. Another interpretation of the three points is the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Most people are afraid of death - this is normal. Since ancient times, folks have used amulets with the death-attributes to cheat death. Often, bird skulls were used for this purpose - Death will come nearer, but when he sees the skull, will think that he has been here before, job is done, will turn around and leave. Death drives death out! Rune Algiz, similar to a bird's paw, was used as a protection too.

In Norse mythology, there lived a great beast. A wolf, but not just any wolf. This wolf is the son of Loki (how a humanoid fathers a wolf I surely don't know, but it's mythology so we won't overthink it) and the father of ALL wolves. The legend of Fenrir has many interesting stories attached to it, but perhaps the most well known is how Fenrir came to bite off the hand of the Nordic god, Týr (from whom we get "Týrsday, or Tuesday as it is now known). Týr was brave enough to place his hand INSIDE the mouth of Fenrir while the other Nordic god's bound Fenrir with a magical ribbon made by the dwarves. Fenrir, who was able to break every other chain up until the magical dwarf ribbon was unable to free himself, and bit off Týr's hand...
