Description: Along an Autumn Path through the Birches, watercolor batik and digital painting by Conni Schaftenaar The base painting is a watercolor batik on ginwashi rice paper. I digitally added some leaves, did some selective blurring, and created more light in the center of the painting than I had managed to retain in the original (sigh).
