Acoustics Tapestries
Description: English jazz-rock band Colosseum called it quits in 1971, and despite a relatively short three-year run, they had built up an impressive collection of backline gear. Instead of parting everything out or letting it languish in storage, the band formed Colosseum Acoustics, more commonly known as Colac in London in 1972. Their gear backed up countless big-name acts playing everything from intimate club shows to massive arena rock events in the '70s throughout the UK and Europe.

Description: A working schematic of speech, drawn the way acoustic phonetics models it: lungs as the power supply, a voicing switch between the vocal folds and a noise source, and three formant filters tuned by the jaw, the tongue and the lips. Footnote 1 is for every speech-language pathologist who has spent a whole session on one sound: F3 drops lowest for /r/. Made for SLPs, SLPAs and grad students who like a diagram that is actually true. The version for light garments is here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/99346730-how-speech-is-wired-speech-therapist-slp-schematic

Description: A monochrome diagram displaying multiple Phon curves with labeled decibel sound pressure levels (dB SPL) on the y-axis and frequency in Hertz (Hz) on the x-axis. The graph features a barred frequency response with various curved lines representing different phon levels, such as 120, 960, 180, 900, and several instances of 'Phon'.
Description: The art style perfectly executes a modern cyber-glitch and industrial chiptune aesthetic. By transforming a fundamental concept in acoustics and electronic synthesis—random audio signals across equal frequencies—into a tangible visual explosion of color and static texture, it completely bypasses standard "soundwave line" merch clichés. It speaks directly to synth geeks, bedroom producers, and signal wave artists, making it a highly marketable, retail-ready crown jewel.
Description: Filter out the background noise to reveal the legend. Plotted on a custom-designed application using Fourier Transform epicycles, this vibrant blue-to-magenta gradient Bigfoot represents finding a clear signal in a noisy system. A perfect design for acoustical engineers, data analysts, and signal processing professionals.
