Australian Bear Tapestries
Description: I put this cute, whimsical critter in a popular meme since I had a license from TheMelodyFace. Koala bears are not true bears; they are marsupials found only in Australia. Generally, they represent comfort with independence and solitude. They are patient, empathetic, nurturing, and resilient. Like peacocks they can eat poisonous substances (eucalyptus) representing an ability to transmute and rise above toxicity in their lives. And underneath all that quiet and calm is a fierce but gentle strength that comes from their close connection to Mother Earth. They are an ideal symbol and good totem to have for this fast-paced world!
Description: A charming Australian parody of Grant Wood’s classic American Gothic painting. Featuring two dapper kangaroos—a farmer with a pitchfork and a lady with a boomerang—standing proudly before Uluru (Ayers Rock) in the rustic Australian outback. This vintage style illustration includes a koala, Kookaburra, and other native wildlife. It makes a fun and unique gift for anyone who loves Australia, holds fond memories of a past vacation down under, or is currently dreaming of their first visit.
Description: If you’ve ever walked under a gum tree and felt a sudden sense of dread, now you know why. This design captures the legendary Drop Bear mid-attack, all claws, chaos, and zero remorse. Equal parts adorable and absolutely not to be trusted, it’s a tribute to Australia’s most misunderstood apex ambusher. Wear it as a warning... or a confession. Cool fact: The name Thylarctos Plummetus is a tongue-in-cheek mock Latin term often used in Australian folklore to give the mythical Drop Bear a “scientific” classification.
Description: A happy koala drummer pounds a full drum kit in a vintage distressed illustration with retro orange and cream tones and a fun, energetic mood. This playful koala bear marsupial artwork is perfect for drummers, music lovers, and wildlife fans who enjoy funny Australian animal art, and it makes a great gift for birthdays, holidays, and music-themed celebrations.
