Description: IJN Fuso (扶桑/ふそう) was the lead ship of the two Fuso-class dreadnought battleships built for the IJN, named after the classical name of Japan, launched in 1914 and commissioned in 1915.Fuso was modernized in 1930 – 1935 and again in 1937 – 1941, with improvements to her armor and propulsion machinery and a rebuilt superstructure in the pagoda mast style. With only 14-inch guns, she was outclassed by other Japanese battleships at the beginning of World War II, and played auxiliary roles for most of the war.

Description: IJN Yamato (大和/ヤマト) was the lead ship of her class of battleships built for the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) shortly before World War II. Named after the ancient Japanese Yamato Province, Yamato was designed to counter the numerically superior battleship fleet of the United States, Japan’s main rival in the Pacific. She and her sister ship, Musashi, were the heaviest and most powerfully armed battleships ever constructed in history, displacing 72,800 tonnes at full load and armed with nine 18.1 inch Type 94 main guns, which were the largest guns ever mounted on a warship.
Description: Arizona was hit by Japanese torpedo bombers during the attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941. After one of their bombs detonated in a magazine, she exploded violently and sank, with the loss of 1,177 officers and crewmen. Unlike many of the other ships sunk or damaged that day, Arizona was irreparably damaged by the force of the magazine explosion. The wreck still lies at the bottom of Pearl Harbor beneath the USS Arizona Memorial

The ship was modernized in 1934 - 1936 with improvements to her armor and machinery and a rebuilt superstructure in the pagoda mast style.
Description: IJN Hyuga (日向/ひゅうが) was the second and last Ise-class battleship built for the IJN during the 1910s. Although completed in 1918, she played no role in World War I. Ise was reconstructed in 1934 – 1937, with improvements to her armour and propulsion machinery. Despite the expensive reconstruction, the ship was considered obsolete by the eve of the Pacific War. After the war, Hyuga was scrapped in 1946–1947.

Description: Space Battleship Yamato was the title spaceship from the anime series Space Battleship Yamato, designed by Leiji Matsumoto in the 1970s. According to the fictional continuity of the anime series, the spacecraft was built inside the remains of the Japanese battleship Yamato. In the American dub of the series Star Blazers, the spaceship has the same origin, but was renamed the Argo (after the mythical ship Argo of Jason and the Argonauts). In Spanish-speaking countries, its name was changed to Intrépido ("Intrepid").
