Hope is located in the fictional Liggett County. It is unknown where this county was supposed to be located in the state, but it is likely the north or southwestern part of the state, based on Teasle's claim that Portland, Oregon is "south" and that he doesn't want to hope that Rambo gets picked up in Seattle.
