Description: “Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?” — Ash Williams S-Mart was the department store that Ash and Linda worked at. Its slogan is: "Shop Smart. Shop S-Mart." S-Mart only appeared on film in the third installment of the Evil Dead trilogy, Army of Darkness, but it went on to become a major setting for the Army of Darkness comic books based of the Army of Darkness film published from 2004 to 2013. In the comics, it is shown that S-Mart is owned and managed by Mr. Smart, a large elderly man with thick glasses and a handlebar mustache.
Description: A poster I designed for "Army of Darkness," the third movie in Sam Raimi's Evil Dead series. I based the design off of a coach gun manual since much of the movie's action revolves so heavily against Ash's "boomstick." Throw in a tagline and a handful of credits and "voila!"—you've got a pretty sweet poster. If you're interested, I did two more of these types of designs for the series; one for the original "Evil Dead" and one for "Evil Dead 2." Both of those follow a similar concept which is taken in two very different directions.
