Brian Depalma Tapestries
Description: Prior to its release, Brian De Palma's Phantom of the Paradise had to go under extensive edits removing the Antagonist's company from the film (mostly replaced with Death Records). This was due to Led Zeppelins record label also being named "Swan Song". Fan edits of the movie have used this footage left on the cutting room floor to try and recreate the original vision of the film. I have recreated the company logo and created a little tribute to this easter egg.
Description: Print #5 in my series on gialli films comes from an American film that many people do not even realize is squarely in the giallo genre, Brian DePalma's "Dressed to Kill" (1980) aka "Vestito per uccidere." While the vast, vast majority of gialli come from Italy, here is one from one of the great masters of suspense in the US.
