Cape Tapestries
Description: Cape May NJ lighthouse bumper stickers. Built in 1859, the iconic Cape May Lighthouse has been a Jersey shore destination for over a century. There's nothing better than a day down the shore hunting Cape May diamonds at Sunset Beach, climbing the lighthouse, relaxing by the ocean, and then maybe heading to the boardwalk for a fun evening by the water. This Cape May NJ design is inspired by 1920s vintage travel posters. Perfect Jersey shore gift to adorn a water bottle, laptop, or beach cooler.

Description: My great-uncle wrote the summer classic, ‘On the Way to Cape May.’ If you are from Jersey or the Philadelphia area, you are probably familiar with the song. This is my little doodle of that ditty, inspired by my dad’s account of his family trips to the shore. I took some liberties with the make/model of the Country Squire, but the rest is based on facts from my dad’s stories.

Description: Founded in 1987 on North Carolina's Cape Fear, Teach's Tavern was a pirate-themed bar that played up the owner's (alleged) lineage shared with Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, the English pirate who operated around the West Indies and the eastern coast of Britain's North American colonies. The legend of Blackbeard and all pirate kitsch aside, Teach's Tavern was actually a pretty great spot that became known not only for the sunsets from their beachfront patio, but their surprisingly good tavern food which was all made from scratch in their on-site kitchen. Of course, there was no shortage of beers on tap and top-shelf cocktails, but a good number of their regulars were there for the PBR in cans and well drink specials.
