Chesterfield Market, Derbyshire, UK One of the oldest markets in the country, Chesterfield's open air Market is huge, so leave yourself plenty of time to browse all of the stalls. Find a bargain at one of the UK's largest flea markets in this lovely city hidden in the Peak District of the UK. I converted this to black and white to accentuate the clouds and the dynamic range. Perfect for a jigsaw puzzle, print or apparel.

Chesterfield Town Centre, Derbyshire, UK Chesterfield is a market town and unparished area in the Borough of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England, 24 miles north of Derby and 11 miles south of Sheffield at the confluence of the River Rother and River Hipper. In 2011 the built-up-area subdivision had a population of 88,483, making it the second-largest settlement in Derbyshire, after Derby. The wider borough had a population of 103,801 in 2011. In 2011, the town had a population of 76,753. It has been traced to a transitory Roman fort of the 1st century CE. The name of the later Anglo-Saxon village comes from the Old English ceaster and feld. It has a sizeable street market three days a week.

Chesterfield Square is a neighborhood full of charming if modest Crafstman homes -- one of which belonged to famed special effects man, Ray Harryhausen. It's also the birthplace of Good Fred Oil and home to Antique Stove Heaven. Unfortunately, Chesterfield Square also consistently has the highest violent crime rate in Los Angeles. In 1990, it was where the film, Boyz N the Hood was shot.
