Description: Celebrate the early days of pro football with a tribute to the Chicago Rockets! The Chicago Rockets were part of the All-America Football Conference (AAFC) from 1946 to 1948, bringing big-league football action to Soldier Field. Though they struggled on the scoreboard, the Rockets were part of a bold era challenging the NFL and helped pave the way for football’s nationwide expansion. In 1949, they rebranded as the Chicago Hornets for their final AAFC season.
