The original drawing was done on a 11x14 size sheet of Strathmore Bristol Vellum using Caran d'ache Luminance and Faber Castell Polychromos coloured pencils.

This version has been digitally enhanced to make it even more vibrant and detailed, and more so reflects the original piece. Both versions however are still available if you prefer the original. A couple of years ago, I bought a book called "Drawing on the light from within" by Judith Cornell. At the time I also was very interested in Mandalas. Listening to classical or new age music also were an inspiration. This is a very large drawing done with Prismacolour pencils on black paper. This is totally my original creation as is all of my art on redbubble.

I managed to get a quick snapshot of this little rabbit whilst we were walking on a local nature trail. I used a mixture of techniques for the background including wet in wet, resist techniques (masking fluid and candle wax) and salt. For the detail on the rabbit I used coloured pencils.

Coloured Pencils on Watercolour Paper. My favorite shoes when I was a teenager.

'Sitting Pretty' is an original coloured pencil drawing. It depicts a girl wearing a red, polka dot dress, riding a chestnut pony. Many, many hours have gone into this piece, building up layer upon layer in order to produce the rich depth of colour and level of detail associated with coloured pencil works. I've purposefully left the background loose and with a speckled texture in order to help keep the focus of attention on the main subject. The crop makes for an eye catching composition, worthy of gracing the wall of any horse lover or riding enthusiast's home.
