Stained glass Detail from the interior of the Cathedral of Rio which is dominated by 4 soaring stained glass panels at the 4 cardinale points of the building, terminating in a clear glass cross at the apex. The Roman Catholic Cathedral of Saint Sebastian, Sao Sebastiano, is dedicated to Saint Sebastian , the patron saint of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The current church was built between 1964 & 1979 & replaced a series of old churches that had served as cathedrals since 1676. Conical in form and with a 96 metres internal diameter and an overall height of 75 metres, it has a standing room capacity of over 20, 000.

The slide is an Abstract geometric composition of two dimensional primary elements - lines, shapes, colors and value.

The Barn Door is an art print I created using a watercolor technique. I did a photo shoot of a living history farm in the summer of 2013 located in Issaquah, Washington. On the farm, I found an incredible barn and other farm buildings. The top door caught my eye, so I used strong simple lines to create the architectural element. Adding bright, bold colors gave me the abstract art print I was looking for. In 1957 an international competition was held for a design of a new city hall. A total of 520 designs were received from 42 different countries. The winner of the competition was Finnish architect Viljo Revell. In 1965 Toronto's fourth city hall opened and still serves as the home of the city's council. The 27 storey east tower and the 20 storey west tower surround the saucer shaped council chamber. The saddest part of the history of our current city hall is that Revell died of a heart attack at 54 years old just 10 months prior to the opening ceremonies and never got to see his vision completed.
