The Journey Before Pancakes t-shirt design is inspired by Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive book series and the Knights Radiant, an order of warriors who swear an oath to uphold a set of ideals. The quote on the t-shirt is a playful twist on the first ideal of the Knights Radiant, "Life Before Death, Strength Before Weakness, Journey Before Destination," and was uttered by a beloved character in the series named "The Lopen". The inclusion of an image of a stack of pancakes adds a touch of whimsy to the design, making it a unique and lighthearted addition to any fan's wardrobe.

For any fan of Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive comes this depiction of a t-shirt for students studying medicine at Kharbranth's prestigious teaching hospital. All sick are welcome, regardless of their ability to pay. The glyphs are the glyph for doctor on the left, and I believe the glyph for Kharbranth is on the right. On a drawing of Kharbranth, it is a symbol that appears in all four corners. The bell is in reference to Kharbranth being the City of Bells.
