Demon Seed Tapestries
Description: Strzyga (say: STSHIH-gah) is a demon of Polish folklore, said to be born with two hearts, two souls and a double row of teeth. To keep her away, old Polish households scattered poppy seed crosswise in every corner of the house - such demons, the belief went, must stop and count every small grain. Original engraving-style artwork: a moonlit doorway, raised claws, and a cross of poppy seed on the threshold. The version for light garments is here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/99634672
